Horse Riding
If you like horses, then again you are at the right place.
Horses are our way of living and we use them daily, for carrying groceries, but they also make the fertilizer for our organic farm.
They demand a lot of work, because horses need care and grass. This 25 years old dream for Nathalie is now a reality: to be able to use a horse instead of a car.
If you don’t know horses then it will be the perfect occasion to let Nathalie introduce you to this art.
We use metal free horses means our horses don’t have a bit of metal in the mouth to control them or horse shoes (very bad for their legs: it block the blood circulation and make them die earlier).

Snake handling
Nathalie is Herpetologist and she first came to Sarteneja for studies at the Shipstern Nature Reserve (read more about her in the About us page). She can catch by hand non-venomous snakes and venomous snakes with a hook.
If you interested by snake handling let me know and I will keep one for you !
Never try to catch a snake if your are not a specialist !
Don’t do that at home !
With Nathalie you will learn amazing fact about snakes, locals legends, species identifications etc etc…

Explore the bay in kayak !
With the SACD (the local organization for sustainable tourism) you will be able to rent full equipped kayaks, for few hours or a full day.
The best way to discover nature on the water around Sarteneja. We hope
this will help to protect the mangrove and focus on the conservation aspect.
We should be concerned about our mangrove and the environment that is so important for the biodiversity and the local fishing activity.
SAVE OUR MANGROVE ! Say NO to bay front retirement houses development in Sarteneja and around which are clearing the mangrove for private muddy beaches !
Visit the pictures gallery of a trip in kayaks with friends from Québec and Slovakia, going to Warry Bight and coming back along the cost.
Really good pictures !
